MARWOOD METHODIST CHURCH
Badminton Comes To Marwood
Barnstaple Badminton Club have relocated to our hall and are now meeting every Tuesday from 7:30 to 10:30pm. Rather than one long session there is lots of flexibility with some members playing early and some after 9:00pm. Having new local membership would be a very positive inducement for the Club to become a long-term presence in Marwood so if you play badminton, please do consider going along to try it out.
You could just turn up and play but if you would like to find out more, please contact Simon Polak using the email firstname.lastname@example.org
Community Hall AGM Thursday 18th July 8:00pm.
To develop further the use of the hall for the community, new faces and ideas are needed. Do consider becoming a trustee. It is NOT a big time commitment with meetings being only bimonthly and they are held in the pub! If interested please send me a text (07850 746776) or just turn up at the AGM.
Pete Silveston, Trustee Marwood Community Hall.

SAVE OUR PUB - RING O' BELLS, PRIXFORD
The Pop-up Pub in Marwood Church Hall in April was well attended and most enjoyable. It gave many of us the opportunity of meeting some of the new people who have moved into the Marwood area in the last year or so. At the end of the evening many expressed how they felt a real sense of community and it was agreed more Pop-Up Pubs would be arranged for the coming months. The next one is Friday 6th July from 7pm in Marwood Church Hall. So please try and pop along to the Marwood Pop-Up where soft drinks are for sale as well as beer and wine.
The first Marwood Cream Tea will be held on 31st March 2pm-5pm in the Church Hall. See website for all 2019 dates and information
